How do I install the Blockbuster app on my Samsung Smart TV or Blu-ray player?

You can add the Blockbuster On Demand app right from your Samsung Smart TV,  Blu-ray player or Blu-ray home theater system. On your device's main menu, open the Samsung App store, which you can find by locating this icon:   samsung-app-store.png

Inside the Samsung Apps store, simply search for "Blockbuster," select the Blockbuster On Demand app from the search results, and click "Buy Now" (don't worry - the app is free). 

 

You will need a Samsung account to add apps to your Samsung product. If you haven't yet set up an account on your Samsung TV or Blu-ray player, please visit the Samsung App Store. This is where you can learn how to register your Samsung TV or Blu-ray player, and activate your account. 

 

In order to run the Blockbuster On Demand app, your device must meet the following minimum requirements: 

  1. Samsung Blu-ray players: Supported on models BD-EM59, BD-EM59C, BD-E5900, BD-E6500, BD-ES6000, BD-F5900, BD-FM59, BD-FM59C, BD-F6700, BD-F7500
  2. Samsung Blu-ray home theater systems: Supported on models HT-E4500, HT-E5300, HT-E5400, HT-E5500W, HT-E6500W, HT-E6730W, HT-EM45, HT-EM53C, HT-EM54C, HT-F5500W, HT-FM55WC, HT-FM53, HT-F6500W, HT-FM65WC, HT-F9730W
  3. Samsung Smart TVs: Supported on 2012 Smart TV 5300 or newer. Click here for a full list of compatible Samsung Smart TVs
